Curious Eats Logo // Stage 2

Having gone back I and edited and combined the two typefaces this is the latest stage of the logo. I have increased the kerning of both words so it is more readable. There are still more tweaks to be made (and I could look into using a different light sans-serif typeface for 'eats'). I also want to look into how to make the 'C' stand out more.
I think that 'eats' needs to be smaller...

Same logo but the 'Eats" is more centralised in the curve of the 'S', I think this is better as It balances out the composition. 

After hand drawing the extended "S" so I could get the right shape, I scanned this into illustrator, live traced and vectored it  so it would be the same weighting and x height of the other characters. 

I went back to hand drawing the logo and the 'S' to see how I could alter the S; I made it more the size of each character by tracing over the chosen 5 and editing the logo from there. 

Below are the selected logos from the second stage of logo development, all of them have very minor and slight changes, I now have to decide which works the best and develop that further. It will probably be a good idea to refer back to the original reference logos I chose before starting the designs. 

A complete change in typeface from the above ones but I think that it makes the logo more interesting and more sophisticated.
