I moved onto the next stage of design with just the black business card design because I fell this would be smarter. If I was to print these out professionally it would be incredibly pricey as I would be proposing to do it on thick stock, with the logo embossed and foiled, and to be printed on very thick stock / card.
In this stage I was just making very small changes again to the placement of text, the size of the text, the colour of the 'C' behind as well as its size and placement, and also the size of the logo.
I also made the decision to use the Optimus Princep typeface for all of the text as I feel it gives the business card more character, it is still stylish but I feel by using a serif typeface it makes the whole business card more friendly.
I have alighned the logo and 'George Cavendish' so they are the same width and balance out the rest of the layout.
