After evaluating which one of the designs I like the best from the pervious stage I took that and started developing it further, making very small changes (both in black and white) to see which one worked the best.
I felt that something was missing from the business card so I took the "C" from the logo, enlarged it and placed it in the background of the business card. In the end I felt that the C worked best when placed on the left, it balanced out the rest of the business card layout.
I started using two typefaces - keeping 'George Cavendish' in the Optimus Primpus typeface and then using Gill Sans Italic for the body of the information. Although I thought this worked initially, when I reflected back on it I felt there were too many typefaces and I should just pick one and use it for all the text.
