Alternative Music Room // Updated Rational

This is a type based investigation of a range of publication designs that explore house music. This will help my type, grid and layout skills and help my develop my skills in  print finishes, binding and software (photoshop and indesign.)

I will create a range of 4 publications which include 3 artists in each. Each of the range will have a different stock, will be a different size and be binder differently. 

The design of the publications will be type based, exploring the effect of a alternative layout and the effect of white space. 

The target audience is student who love house music and are interested in discovering new DJ's and producers from around the world and to keep up to date with new releases.
